This development consists of twin 15 storey residential towers with four podium levels and two basement levels located in Newstead, Queensland.

The client had a firm vision of the landscape design and much of the building was designed to accommodate their vision, including the installation and cultivation of an Illawarra Flame Tree between the two buildings, as a central feature.

Conventional reinforced concrete was used for the slabs to save on time and precast slab edges were used to maintain a quality finish to the slab edges which are exposed as part of the façade.

The removal of slab thickeners around the bottom of the columns in the basement and podium slab design simplified formwork which led to a saving in construction dollars for the client. The minimization of extra braced panels and the careful redesign for the internal column locations on the floor slab also saved on construction costs.
